Dear Friends

I’m writing today about a great national security threat to our children, families and nation.  This threat includes:  Human trafficking, child abduction/exploitation and now the drug cartels.

This is a non partisan non political issue that affects all Americans.

Human trafficking is the second biggest illegal money maker in the world behind illegal drugs.   Cartels have entered the human trafficking business.

There are many elements involved in the exploitation of women and children.  Some include pornography, the sexualization of the culture and more.

Child prostitution is rampant in the United States.  Some put the numbers of child prostitutes from 100,000 and much higher.  Child missing person reports  in the U.S. ranges up to 1,000,000 annually. 

We are all obliged to be involved as part of the solution.

We produce the Preventing Abuse Conferences to help educate and inspire people to be involved in the solution.

Some of Obama’s favorite words are “fair share”.  Karl Marx founder of Socialist Communism believed the same thing i.e. “each to work according to their ability and receive according to their need.”  As Obama said to “Plumber Joe”, he wanted to spread the wealth. Throughout his years as President Ronald Reagan warned against government encroachment through socialism and through a government controlled health care.  He also spoke strongly about relying on God for our survival.

A Christmas Blessing

Several years ago there was a man about to read his Bible.  The Lord suddenly commanded him to read the Christmas story in Luke 2:1-7.

 “And it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed…And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem (because he was of the house and lineage of David) to be taxed with Mary his  wife, being great with child.  And so it was that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered and she brought forth her firstborn son…”

 This edict caused the family to go to Bethlehem thus fulfilling the prophecy of Micah 5:2:

 “and thou Bethlehem Ephratah though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

Then the Lord asked the gentleman:  “How can you apply this Scripture to your personal life?”

He replied:  ”Well it shows that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Micah 5:2 that the Messiah would come from Bethlehem”

The Lord responded:  “Yes but how can you take this Scripture and apply it to your personal life today?”

After thinking for a while the man said:  “Lord, I don’t just don’t know.”

 God spoke:  “When Caesar moved the entire empire I was the one who made him do it (upon hearing this the gentleman recalled the words in the Book of Daniel saying that God reigns in the affairs of man.  In Proverbs 21 Solomon said “the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord”. 

God continued:  Caesar had no desire to be obedient to Me.  In fact Caesar considered himself to be god.  But I the Lord moved him to move the empire.

The Lord continued:  Why did I do such a thing?  Why didn’t I just tell Joseph to take Mary to Bethlehem in order to fulfill the prophecy?  A prophecy to the “smallest of Judah”. 

After all, I spoke to him to take Mary to be his wife.  I spoke to him to go to Egypt.  Why would I move an entire empire to fulfill one prophecy to such a seemingly insignificant village?

The gentleman said:   Please speak on I’m listening. 

Then the profound blessing of God’s love and wisdom came forth.

God said:  I moved an entire empire to fulfill one prophecy to the least of the thousands of Judah.  How much more will I move heaven and earth to fulfill one promise to those for whom I was crucified?

Dear Friends,

            Nearly 1,000,000 children reported missing in America.  Hundreds of thousands of child prostitutes in America.  Extremists use pornography for funding and message encryption..   Drug Cartels are in America.  Sexualization of the culture is fueling the demand for sex trafficking.  The problem is great. There is hope.

The Hope:  About a month ago, I received a telephone call from a professor at an Eastern University seeking help regarding her little four year old child.  During the conversation she shared that her Christian friends were praying for her, yet she wasn’t a Christian.  I shared my testimony.  I asked if there was any reason for her not to accept Jesus as her Savior?  She said “no” and so she did.

            “All the hope I have of rescuing my daughter I have because of people I saw on your conference site and I reached out to them.

                                                            The Soldier Testimony: 

 It never ceases to amaze me to hear great stories of the impact of our conferences.  Just a few days ago I was speaking with a friend who attended one of our conferences.  Thereafter she shared about it with her son. 
            He was so motivated that he joined the military and spec. operations.  Upon completion of duty, he wants to do rescues of human trafficking victims.

                                             The Incredible Rescue: 

At one conference a man asked speaker Noreen Gosch if she could help find his daughter who was being trafficked.  She said “yes”.  A few months later she received an email from him saying

 “I got my daughter…don’t ever stop talking about human trafficking”.   Dear friends, it was the conference that brought Noreen and the father together and resulted in the rescue of the daughter.

Dear friends,

In recent days we’ve seen massive demonstrations against “Wall Street”

The demonstrators direct their anger at the economy and the perceived cuprit of Wall Street and capitalism.

Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Who/What is to Blame:
To blame capitalism for the current economic crisis is like blaming a car for adrunkdriving accident.  Adrunkdriving accident is caused by the driver.  So is the current economic crisis caused by those who have abbrogated their moral values putting the profit motive above moral standards of right and wrong.  This ignores the root of the problem which is a moral disintegration.

Great dangers:

The problems are still here.  Recently I received a news report of an arrest of a man allegedly assaulting an 11 month old while video taping it. 

Some people ask “How could someone do this?”  I respond:  “You’re not considering the real nature of evil”.
