Defense Department Expulsion
Franklin Graham, son of Evangelist Billy Graham has been disinvited from the DefenseDepartment National Day of Prayer for simply making an observation regarding the theology and practice of Islam. Interestingly this was made years ago. He rightly makes the distinction between the Muslim people and their religious doctrines.
This should alarm and outrage everyone, not just Christians.
First, these leaders represent mainstream Christianity.
Second, their disinvitations were because of their faith/morality consistant with traditional Christianity.
Third, Franklin Graham is the second of high profile Christian leaders persecuted for their faith. Previously, Tony Perkins from the Family Research Council was disinvited.
Fourth, I personally experienced this same type treatment. When I made a presenation to the
DefenseDepartment on human trafficking I voiced my support for Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. I was told that because of that my presentation was edited from the DVD and I was not given a copy. I am now proceeding with a Freedom of Information Act request.
Fifth, the ominous forboding of things to come: Our nation has degenerated from honoring the Reverend Billy Graham, who prayed with Presidents to discriminating against his son who simply affirmed the Christian heritage and constitutional rights of Americans.
Sixth, Warning: Christians need to take profound notice to the growing hostility to Christianity and Christians by some government policies. In a news brief from ONE NEWS NOW, April 26, 2010, of the American Family Association it said.
“One Pentagon advisor says that rejection wouldn’t have happened while
George W. Bush was in the White House.”
We need to let our voices known to our U.S. Senators, Congressmen/women and President Obama
Seventh, prophesy fulfilled. Late but not too late: We are seeing the continual unfolding of the hostility against Christianity and traditional American values. This is a fulfillment of prophesy after the Soviet Union fell. The word was that the spirit of anti-christ which used communism in the eastern block was exorcised and looking for a new home. It found one in America. This is only the beginning…..unless Americans and people of faith stand up.
ACTION ITEMS
Herein are some brief suggestions that some of our speakers have sent us on ways to help stop human trafficking and help protect women and children. We thought to share them with you. I’ll start with my own: Elect government leaders who will return to traditional morals, demand your pastors preach the full gospel of moral integrity. Get involved with a bonifide group to help save victims and prevent others.

Child Safety
Internet Safety Education for both parent and child should begin long before that child’s fingers first touch the keyboard. Be aware that often there are no core values- or values of any type- to be found online, and as such parents must be specific concerning those behaviors and individuals they want children to avoid. Choose to discuss with, rather than speak to them, thus allowing them to freely share their opinions. Reinforce that you are in their lives to love and mentor and that whatever they share with you, you will always love and support them
Children need to know that even should the worst happen, abuse is not their fault, and home will always be there as a place of healing.
In the US, Law Enforcement has identified nearly a million internet child pornographers, yet they are able to investigate less than 2% of these cases due to a lack of funding.
The Protect Our Children Act of 2008 provides these resources, yet the Government has not seen fit to appropriate the promised funding, leaving tens of thousands of helpless children to be sexually exploited and abused. Contact your legislators and demand that this Law be appropriated for!

*Slow Down, Pay Attention and Trust your Gut Instinct: Don’t lower your guard simply because you live in the suburbs and your child has a cell phone with them all the time. Check your children while they are sleeping in bed at night, get home phone numbers of the places where they go, and look around at who is hanging out with them. If something feels wrong, then it IS.
*Educate your Child on Predators: Its not just the inner city pimp you have to warn them about. It could be the old man living next door. Talk to your child about how these guys prey on kids, watch educational shows on trafficking, read book on the subject, help them do papers for school on the subject so they can spread this to other kids.
*Have Open Communication!!! Tell you child they can tell you ANYTHING. And mean it! (Or have someone in your support network be there for them) If you see a change in their behavior, ask “Are you ok? Is there anything you need to talk to me about?” They might say no, but do this continually.

God and Abortion

Several years ago God revealed that He, Himself, is victimized by abortion. The following unfolds this truth and the serious consequences.
The Attack
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” (Jeremiah 1:5). What then does God experience in an abortion? It is like a mother nursing a child and an intruder breaks in ripping the baby in pieces as she watches in horror. How great is the pain, anger and torment?
Invasion of the Holy of Holies
The abortionist invades the “holy of holies” of a mother’s womb, ripping the baby from God’s arms, dismembering the child in His face. This is an act of devil worship. How does God feel being victimized 50 million times…and counting?
Jesus Get’s Angry
Jesus became enraged at the money changers at the temple (John 2: 14, 15). He beat them and drove them out. He also became enraged at those who supported the moneychanger’s desecration by buying from them. Mathew 21:12, 13
If Jesus became so angry at those who defiled His temple made of stones by man’s hand, how great is His anger at a nation who destroys His living temples made in His image in whom His Spirit dwells? (John 1:7)
Jesus Confirms the Victimization and the Accountability
When Jesus told the disciples in helping the needy they were helping him (“I was hungry and you fed me, naked and you clothed me.” Matthew 25). The gospel of John says that He is the light that gives life to everyone. Thus, Christ gives life to the child in the womb. An abortion not only destroys the child but by relation Jesus Himself experiences the atrocity.
What does He think of those who do nothing ? According to Matthew 25 those not doing anything to help the afflicted were thrown into eternal judgment.
The Early Church
Many think abortion is a contemporary issue. Not so. The early church confronted this problem and did so effectively.
“You shall not slay the child by abortions”

“We acknowledge, therefore, that life begins at conception because we contend
that the soul begins at conception. Life begins when the soul begins.”

Remember RU486 abortion pill? Not so new.
In the 7th century A.D. the Church spoke directly to the fact that there were poisons women could take to induce an abortion.
“…those who take fetus-killing poisons, they are made subject to the penalty for murders.”

Cain and Abel—America and Abortion
When Cain slew Abel, God heard his blood cry out. God placed a horrendous curse on Cain for the murder. If God heard the voice of one innocent family member’s blood how loud is the cry of the blood of 50 million aborted children. If God exacted such a grievous penalty on Cain, how great is the judgment awaiting those by whom the blood of 50 million aborted children cry.
The Supreme Judge of the World
The Founding Fathers understood the authority of God i.e. “The Supreme Judge of the World”. When they wrote the Declaration of Independence they referred to God as the Supreme Judge of the World possessing standards of right and wrong with consequences of blessing or cursing.
This appeared in the last paragraph. This places all they just said they were going to do, why and their justification. The last paragraph is the capstone under which all preceding is governed.
Abortion violates the standards and morals of the Supreme Judge of the world taking the nation from under His protection to judgment. Even so, God is longsuffering waiting for the nation to repent
Jesus Physically Experienced the Same Effects of an Abortion.
When Jesus was scourged it tore the flesh off His body. In abortion the child is likewise ripped to death. What does Jesus say to the Church for whom his body was mutilated and destroyed who keep voting for candidates who support abortion ?
How great is His anger toward the Church and nation who actually supports abortion of the innocent and His victimization? Can we hear Christ say “wasn’t once enough?”
When considering a Christian’s role to take in voting or political involvement we often hear of opinions from various people. However, to get to the truth, we need to address the issue from God’s perspective i.e. take the debate from horizontal to vertical.
Those in opposition to political involvement or who support candidates with immoral positions such as homosexuality, abortion, etc. need to be presented the biblical values established by God via Scripture and church history. Once presented with those facts they are left in a debate between them and God rather than them and another person’s opinion.
The following are two examples of taking the debate from horizontal to vertical.
To Vote or Not to Vote:
One may say “I don’t believe in voting”. Well we could get into a debate about it and most likely no minds will change. However, if that person were presented with biblical truths that in since we are all given the “talent” (Matthew 25) of the vote then in God’s eyes we all vote in every election. We vote by our ballot or by our silence. Since God gave us our freedom and our vote there will be a spiritual accountability. Now the perspective changes and most likely their position.
This happened during an interview I did on a Dallas station on election day a few years ago. A caller called in and said “I wasn’t going to vote but hearing what you said, I’d like to know how I get to the polls?”
Another time I spoke at a church and an older man came up to me profusely weeping. He shook my hand saying “What you said has changed my life.” Three months later on election night I was at a headquarters party for a candidate I supported. There I saw the same man. He came up to me again and said. “After hearing what you said about being involved, I got convicted and I’ve been a volunteer with this campaign.
With the biblical insight and perspective people of faith go from being presented with man’s position to God’s position. Now they are confronted with either obedience to God or rebellion for which there is a temporal and eternal accountability.
The two gentlemen I spoke of earlier were presented with God’s perspective and they responded accordingly.
One favorite Scripture I reference to bring perspective to the truth that our opinions to God have no value is Matthew 25 concerning the parable of the “talents”.
The man with one talent hid it thinking he was doing good. In reality the Master came back and called him to account. When he saw the “talent was of no profit, the man lost his talent and he even lost his soul. Matthew 25
His opinions didn’t matter to the Master.
The Spiritual Dynamic to the Vote
Those who vote for one whose positions are contra biblical without realizing the full impact of such an act.
“If someone comes to your home and doesn’t bring this doctrine
(of Christ) you are not to wish them God’s speed for in so doing
you become a partaker of their evil deeds.
II John 10,11
Consequently, there is a spiritual dynamic to human existence. The vote is an extension of ourselves. Our vote aligns ourselves with the one we gave it to. When we know their positions on moral issues and yet support them e.g. Kerry in 2004 we will also be responsible for it.
However, what does one do when the two candidates don’t fully support our values? Since we are voting either by silence or the ballot we need to choose the one who’s values come the closest to the traditional biblical and moral foundation.

MARRIAGE and HOMOSEXUALITY

The moral/cultural collapse is disintegrating the nation. It is personified by gains the homosexual movement has made politically, in the judicial system, popular culture/entertainment industry and religious institutions. The success is accelerated by church apathy recoiling from conflictions against evil and wrongdoing contrary to the biblical mandate.
Below is as statement about this issue of Marriage and the ballot initiatives on the ballots.
Last November 2008 ballot measures protecting the traditional definition of marriage appeared in several states. Prop 8 in California protecting marriage between a man and woman is under legal attack. Amazing!
Legalization of homosexual marriage establishes a lifestyle proven to be destructive to those who practice it and the society in which they live.
CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN DANGER: Normalizing homosexual marriage will force children to be taught that homosexuality is “normal” encouraging experimentation or practice of this dangerous lifestyle.
Embracing homosexuality requires rejection of normal paradigms of reason supplanted by those rejected by human physiology.
Homosexual/Lesbian marriages adopt or artificially inseminate to have children. They
unable to naturally procreate. As the children grow up they are inclined to the opposite sex.
However, the culture and the homosexual “parents” teach that exclusive heterosexuality is not correct. Thus the emotional and psychological conflict.
THE ILLOGIC OF HOMOSEXUALITY: While I spoke to a lesbian she said her partner was pregnant. I asked “How can that be since you don’t have the ‘plumbing’?” She said: “It is complicated” I said “It can’t be natural”. She said her egg was fertilized by a man and implanted in her partner. I asked what are you going to say when the child asks who is their father. She said the neighbor will be the “father”. I said “That’s not natural” No reply. Ironically, this twisted logic is growing. Why? Apathy, lethargy, moral paradigms and absolutes have ground to sand leaving a moral void.
If the marriage amendments do not pass, the public perspective of homosexual endorsement and legal protections will spread. Moral relativism will continue.
STANDARDS OF RIGHT AND WRONG DISINTEGRATES: Truth became
relative. Supporters say “no one should judge”. However, truth cries out. First, the sexualization of the culture and nation i.e. pornography, abortion, entertainment industry promoting sex as a recreation. Second, acceptance of homosexuality in the entertainment industry, the culture and teaching it is normal and codifying it in law. Third, judicial activism has overthrown the will of the people requiring marriage amendments. Fourth, AIDS is spread primarily by homosexual behavior. AIDS is considered a threat to national security. In order to embrace homosexuality historic moral standards needs be rejected.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING is the commercial sexual exploitation of women and children. Child porn is the fastest growing on the Internet. The F.B.I. Director says we are losing the war on child porn. Where do they get the children? Destruction of moral paradigms leads to greater victimization of women and children. Homosexual acceptance is part of the cultural collapse.
HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY: Homosexuality is not natural. The act itself imitates heterosexuality. The reproductive organs are non applicable and the dead victims of HIV/AIDS.
THE SPIRITUAL DYNAMIC: God created human physiology forbidding the divine command to “replenish the earth” by homosexuality. The Bible condemns homosexuality. Jesus said He came to fulfill the law. He showed mercy to the adulterous woman and said “go and sin no more”. In the Books of Romans, and First Corinthians Paul confirms the condemnation of homosexuality. The satanic/demonic realm seeks to destroy nations and people by death, war,
disease, and sin. Freedom is available to those imprisoned by homosexuality.
THE SATANIC STRATEGY: SILENCE THE CHURCH. Silencing the church stops the spread of the Gospel. Stopping the gospel stops the day of final destruction for the devil and his demons. (Matthew 25:41, 46). It is done in several ways. Marginalize Church influence of the culture and nation. The threat/execution of hate crimes used throughout the world to silence pastors. Others are in jail. In the Soviet Union some Christians and pastors were branded mentally unstable for believing in Christ.
COURT RULINGS THREATEN RELIGIOUS LIBERTY: The California Supreme Court ruled that homosexual rights take priority over religious rights.
THE VICTIMS OF HOMOSEXUALITY: Homosexuality victimizes homosexuals and the society by death and disease forbidding a normal life and relationships. Billions of dollars spent for AIDS research could have been spent for research for Heart Disease, Cancer, Parkinson, Diabetes, and every other type of disease had the dollars spent on AIDS research not been needed. Keep in mind that AIDS is preventable.
IMMORALITY: ASSET OF TERRORISTS. Extremists use American immorality as a recruiting asset. Middle East people view homosexuality as deviant. It is ammunition for the terrorists who wish to destroy us.
SILENCE: If we keep silence in the face of which God calls abomination and which afflicts those who practice it, makes us complicit with the deviance.
CONSTITUTION: Biblical standards establish the foundation for the constitution. Those standards reject homosexuality and all sexual deviance.
“We therefore the representatives of the United Colonies assemble in Congress submit the rectitude of our intentions to the SUPREME JUDGE OF THE WORLD” [caps for emphasis]
Declaration of Independence
This “Supreme Judge of the World” is the God of the Bible who only condones marriage between a man and woman.
